Mariners travelled to Hector Harvey Park at Dapto to take on the Dapto Panthers. Mariners went from heroes last week to zero this week having their poorest performance this season. Unfortunately Mariners first innings was one they wish to forget Mariners started with the bats bringing in two runs with a nice double from Stuart Raymond. When Mariners took to the field is when the nightmare started.
Mariners were completely out played by the Panthers compounding it with Mariners errors in the field letting Panthers score a massive 13 runs.
From the second innings on it was a real close game with Mariners scoring 2 more runs for the game and Panthers also scoring another 2 runs but with a unassailable lead from the first inning Mariners couldn’t give chase. Panthers walking away with a well-deserved win 15/4
Look out Mariners next opponents they will come back fighting hard.
