A warm late summer night, lights on, foods smell delicious, crack of the bat, the crowd roars!  Six Glorious Rounds of Baseball, Friday nights under the lights! Sign up your team to play in this fun tournament or put your name on the list for a team.  Designed to take the stress out of your week!  Come play under the lights, listen to some music and eat some good food.  Canteen facilities will be available from 530pm, and pre-orders are welcome.  Bring your friends and family down for some wholesome baseball goodness!

Note: Juniors can play under discretion of the team and the Umpires (no players under 13 allowed).

Round 1 – 15 January

Round 2 – 22 January

Round 3 – 29 January

Round 4 – 5 February

Round 5 – 12 February (Sweetheart Round)

Round 6 – 19 February (WRAP UP PARTY / PRESENTATION)

Rules

1. Minimum 8 players per game.
2. Must all be in uniform (tutu’s are acceptable).
3. Those with the most runs at the end of the tournament wins.
4. Mariners Code of Conduct must be adhered to.
5. Games start at 600pm sharp.  If a team is delayed, 1 run will be deducted per 1 minute late and will continue up to 10 runs (10 minutes).
6. Rain days will be a 0 – 0 score for those playing.  If there is time and interest, the tournament can extend into March to make up the games. To be discussed upon occurrence.
7. If a team is not fielded – a forfeit will occur.  No switching days, no changing the schedule.
8. Sponsors are vital and respectful representation is expected. 
9. Scoring – Honour System.  We will be watching and Announcing runs. 
10. 5 runs across the plate results in turnover. 
11. No more than 3 stolen bases per inning. 
12. Golden Batter rule – pinch hitter at any time of the game but only once per game.
13. Trick play = extra base.  Use your skills to impress the umpire. Trickster to be named.  
14. Team Dance (minimum 1 minute – must give music to Announcer) = 1 run for next game
15. Individual walk-up dance = 1 winner per game = $5 canteen voucher – decided by Announcer.

1. Power FM – Power Hitter of the game
2. Highest number of runs (Tournament Winners).
3. Team Dance.
4. Individual walk-up dance
