Sunday 15th September saw Shoalhaven Mariners Baseball Association hold their second Come try day for the season at Ison Park South Nowra.

Participants were split into their age category of t-ball and junior baseball with the helpful coaches, t-ball had multiple stations set up that kept the younger players entertained. Obstacles courses, slow snail game, hitting and fielding to name a few. All these stations work on the child’s hand eye coordination, teaches them team skills while making new friendship.

Junior Baseball had a good turnout of very interested players for our Friday night competition and Under 14s travelling team. Coaches Brian, Ben, Richard and David kept the boys very busy teaching them techniques on how to hold their gloves and bats properly.

Before they finished the morning off with a game and base running.
